What is an infrared sauna?

An infrared sauna uses light (infrared waves) to heat your body, not just the air around you. This light is much like the suns rays on a warm day, but is invisible to the human eye.

Why should we sweat?

Our bodies were designed to sweat. Sweating is our natural detox process. Our bodies are overwhelmed with toxins from products we use, foods we eat, and even places we live and work. Spending time in an infrared sauna can give our bodies the help it needs to rid of toxins, strengthen our immune systems, and get a better nights sleep.

How long is my session?

Sauna sessions range from 10-40 minutes. We will discuss that with you for your first session.

Foot detoxes take 30 minutes once we start. The infrared blanket can go as long as 40 minutes. Your sauna session can go as long as 40 minutes. For any service, you will have your own room.

What is a recovery room?

After increasing our core body temperature we want to slowly let it come back down. Feel

free to relax in our recovery room. We have water, snacks and tea for you to enjoy.

How long will the effects of a sauna last?

With any of our services, your body will continue to detox for another 24 hours. After your cool down, you might feel more energy and be refreshed. You should sleep much better that night and for several nights after.

How often should I use an infrared sauna or do
a foot detox?

How you feel is very individualized. So are the number of times you use a sauna,

depending on your health history and your reasons for your sauna sessions. Some people can tolerate and benefit from 3-4 times per week. Others may feel great with two sessions a week. If you are looking to detox, you might want to try 3 times a week for 2-4 weeks and then drop down to once per week. Pay attention to how your body feels before and after your sessions.

Foot detox

An ionic foot detox is recommended every 2-3 days. After 12-14 sessions, you have reached a full detox. We recommend maintenance sessions 2-4 times a month after that. Again, it depends on each person's health history.

Can I share my sessions?

Sorry, sessions are per person only. The same goes for our punch cards.

What do I bring to my session?

Best results happen when you come hydrated. Bring or wear comfortable, cotton clothing. Bring a water bottle, your favorite book, or have a relaxing playlist ready to go. Bring your earbuds, air pods or favorite headphones. Removing makeup before your session is also helpful. Spending time in a sauna regularly reduces stress. It brings calm, warm and peace to your day. We encourage you to unplug during your session. Use this time for mental and physical detoxing.

Who should not use an infrared sauna?

Pregnant or breastfeeding women, those who have a pacemaker, and anyone intoxicated or under the influence of drugs or alcohol. If you have a medical condition and aren’t sure, please ask your doctor first. If you have a fever due to sickness, do not sauna until your body temperature has regulated.
